60-second Short Nervous System Reset
Angela Black | JAN 5
The start of a new year can feel like a deep inhale — full of possibility, intention, and fresh energy. But it can also pull us quickly back into old rhythms: full calendars, busy minds, and the familiar pressure to “get moving again.” I’ve noticed it in myself too. Even with the best intentions, it’s easy to slip back into doing, planning, organising… before the body has truly caught up.
Coming back to teaching this month has been such a grounding reminder of why I do this work. Every class, every shared breath, every moment of stillness in the room has felt like a gentle homecoming. I love witnessing people soften, reconnect with themselves, and remember that rest is not a luxury — it’s a biological need. Being back in community, holding space, and offering practices that support nervous‑system health has filled me with so much gratitude.
As we settle into 2026, my intention is to help you create small, sustainable pockets of restoration — moments that interrupt the rush and bring you back to your centre. Whether it’s through Stretch & Restore, Yin & Sound, Yoga Programs or our monthly Sound Healing sessions, I hope these offerings become anchors in your month: places where you can exhale, reset, and return to yourself.
Below is a 60-second Short Nervous System Reset You Can Save to Your Phone, take 60 seconds whenever you need them.
If you need a little more support, find some information below on upcoming events & programs to support you through the first quarter of the year.
